I am a PhD student under the supervision of Roser Corominas and Gabriel Santpere (IMIM). My project tries to unravel human brain evolution, using primate evolutive variants to study the effect of microcephaly genes in brain organoids using CRISPR-Cas technology🐒

Anna Guixeras. I am a PhD student at Francesc Cebrià’s lab. I am studying how the differentiation of stem cells is regulated using freshwater planarians, as they possess adult pluripotent stem cells that continuously generate all their cell lineages.

Last Friday PhD Day VII finished with the awards for best oral talks and posters. The first prize for oral communication was awarded to @MarcFabrega01 and the second one to @RocioGarcia_97!. Congratulations!! 🎉🎉
