What lesson can students learn from the US elections? Th is a good reminder to all marginalized ppl that we are still at the crossroads of racism, sexism, and misogyny. To those who believe that discrimination is a thing of the past, let these US elections be a reminder!.

Those who advocate for the oppressed are often constructed as criminals. Therefore, it's ok to abuse the advocates of freedom fighters.

This is violence. It is sickening. Dragging her by her hair like that. All for standing up against injustice. Everyone with an ounce of humanity must speak out against this. Silence is not protection.

Republican Governor Landry just passed a law that would prevent anyone convicted of a crime in Louisiana after August 1st from EVER getting parole. Louisiana already has the largest prison population in the country where thousands of Black people are forced to do free labor.

This is what it looks like and fees like to be black in America in the 1950s 60s and 70s. For those who said America was not a racist country. Welcome to America apartheid. I forgot Jim Crow. Black History Month.

We have to be more deliberate with our teacher release time. What is the intended goal? Who is leading? Are we creating spaces where individuals can be vulnerable? We need to honor the expertise on staff.

Being mindful of teachers' time and amplifying individual areas of expertise are just some of the ways a school can strengthen the culture of learning among staff. 💪
