https://t.co/kIdnnAouJr This video was made almost 10 years ago but Abed could easily have been describing his work in Gaza today. But today he is gone, killed waiting for a bus to take him to work with @MSF . He was a giant of rehabilitation in Gaza and the most amazing person

Another horrifying loss of an @MSF colleague in #Gaza. Omar Hayek was an occupational therapist. Other colleagues injured include a physiotherapist, and an orthopaedic surgeon among others. I mention their professions because I spoke earlier today of the urgent need for this
