“Being able to go over this bridge and know that the mothers I see pushing baby strollers are crossing on a completely separate walkway is vitally important,” SMCTA Chair and East Palo Alto Councilmember Carlos Romero said. “This project has stitched the community back together.”

Changes coming to 101 at Fashion Island as part of the $45M U.S. 101- SR-92 Short-term Improvements Project that is co-sponsored by the TA and C/CAG. The new alignment will make it easier and safer to get to the off-ramp and avoid traffic backing up on eastbound 92.
🚧 Traffic change coming! US 101 Fashion Island Blvd off-ramp 🚧 On Sat, Aug 23, drivers on SB U.S. 101 will take WB SR-92 (toward Half Moon Bay 🌊) to reach the Fashion Island Blvd. off-ramp in San Mateo/Foster City. This is a permanent change—plan ahead & watch for signs!
