This is my dog Ginny This was her just yesterday, resting in her bed recovering. She passed away Friday the 9th of January 2026 at 06:49, with me next to her all night comforting her She was 16 years old, and I have never loved anybody more in my life I will miss you dearly

During the night I was so overwhelmed by emotion, I couldn't believe I could feel this frightened in my life. I kept reassuring her that I was there by her side, and told her "I love you so much Ginny" shortly before her passing

She was 2 days old when I first held her in my hands. I got to name her there and then as "Ginny". I named her that because her tiny size reminded me of a guinea pig. I was only 10 years old at the time.
