Russell Westbrook’s MVP season:
◽️31.6 PPG (league leader)
◽️10.7 RPG
◽️10.4 APG
◽️1.6 SPG
◽️42/34/85 splits (55.4 TS%)
◽️42 triple doubles
How many current players peaked higher than this?
Niggas gotta quit acting like Russ wasn’t considered arguably a top 5 player in the NBA when Harden, Kawhi, LeBron, Curry, and KD were all in their primes lol
Harden was really putting up historic scoring performances every other night just for y’all to say “how many free throws” lmao that was some real hater shit
Watching Russ peak as a passer last season was beautiful to see.
He averaged 11.7 assists per game which is the 19th highest in NBA history and the highest since 1993. Only 4 names are ahead of him on that list.
Zion Williamson last season:
◽️27.0 PPG
◽️7.2 RPG
◽️3.7 APG
◽️64.9 TS%
◽️NBA All-Star
The only player in NBA HISTORY to average at least 27 ppg on 60% FG%
and he did it in just his second season. He’s a generational talent.
We don’t usually read our replies but after doing so the past few weeks, we realized too little of it is actual sports discussion.
We’re experimenting with temporarily disabling it to see if we can improve signal, reduce noise and cultivate a more focused StatMuse community.
Russell Westbrook’s peak (2015-17)
◽️27.7 PPG
◽️9.9 APG
◽️8.7 RPG
◽️1.9 SPG
◽️54.8 TS%
1x MVP
2x scoring champion
3x All-NBA (2x first team)
3x All-Star
One of the greatest peaks of all time⭐️
Russell Westbrook’s final regular season stats with the Clippers:
15.8 PPG
7.6 APG
4.9 RPG
49% FG
36% 3FG
More work to do, but Russ has been fantastic.
I’m so tired of hearing about Giannis’ TS% man. Some of y’all act like it’s the end all be all of a players performance. He’s averaging 30/12/7 in the playoffs and is up 2-1 against the number 1 defense in the league without his second option. Who cares if his TS% isn’t high? Lol
Miles Bridges this season:
◽️20.0 PPG
◽️7.2 RPG
◽️3.6 APG
◽️48/31/80 shooting splits
◽️57.9 TS (1.9 rTS%)
◽️Top MIP candidate
All at only 23 years old. Future all star.
Let me clarify since it’s clearly necessary, nobody is saying Kawhi didn’t do an amazing job on Giannis. But we can’t pretend that team didn’t have perfect defensive personnel to slow him down. It was insane team defense on top of the fact that Giannis’ help was horrific
His peak season in 2018-19:
◽️28.0 PPG (career high) (2nd)
◽️8.2 RPG (career high)
◽️4.1 APG
◽️2.2 SPG (league leader)
◽️43/38/83 splits (58.3 TS%)
◽️292 made 3’s (7th most ever)
Finished top 3 in MVP and DPOY voting
Very easy to just educate him on who he is instead of attacking his basketball knowledge😭people get offended when you don’t know everything which has lots of irony
None of the top 3 picks were efficient tonight but they all showed the world some their talent.
-Wemby showed off his rim protection
-Miller showed off his defensive instincts
-Scoot showed off his explosiveness
