Idk what your take is but I only ever bid on brand for the below reasons .1) don’t rank first for brand terms .2) competitors are bidding on your brand .3) you want to show specific promo ad copy for brand searches . #2 is the most common reason for brand campaigns . And this is.

most of my experiments are pretty straight forward - bidding/match types/AI Max . and mainly just done to make sure we don't nuke a already performing campaign. have the safety net that if the change tanks the campaign, can discard the experiment and no issues at all.

just do an offline conversion upload as if you are uploading sales data but instead create new conversion actions as secondary conversions . once you upload them break them out with a custom column and see where these leads are coming from exactly

from my experience brand exclusions in AI Max are trash. you're going to have to manually exclude every single possible combination and misspelling of your brand to weed it out.

idk if im the only one that uses conversions to track bad leads?. - create conversion actions for categories/reasons.- set them as secondary conversions .- upload the gclid to the conversion action.- uncover search term level data of where bad leads are coming from

Some AI Max search terms that are converting would never make sense for me to bid on - having to do some serious deep dives to figure out quality of these. Easy to do with self serve SaaS products as you can look at the upgrade rate but enterprise lead gen is a little trickier.

can we get a button for the set up of PMAX when adding signals to add in a button like this. going crazy every time creating a new PMAX campaign have to go and manually download, copy and paste top converting terms to use for search themes
