I'm tired of saying "omega" or "phi" when what I really want are ω and φ. Mainstream languages already support Unicode identifiers anyway.

somebody should make a JetBrains/VSCode plugin that lets you type in Greek letters using escape codes like in Wolfram

Fun day for me today. My integration of our AI agent Bro with Slack is finally working https://t.co/kh39wo3ozY. This is a video demo of me asking it to open Chrome on my own computer simply by sending a Slack message. Only waiting for code review from my boss 😉.

There is a certain coreless transformer I've been involved with lately. A COMSOL simulation predicted the mutual inductance of 20.8 nH; the first measurement made on a real prototype shows 20.9 nH. The empirical measurement was quite an ordeal because as soon as you step outside

Replacing a global reset with a few granular resets where needed allowed me to go from 106 to 118 MHz on Lattice ECP5: https://t.co/1zZducuH8j I think I was doing it wrong

Check this out, a playground for fixed-point nerds: https://t.co/o117xLIn7k seriously it's quite helpful though for making golden tests

GPT-5 appears to be disappointingly bad at HDLs, in particular Verilog. Here's an interesting case where I asked it to make a combinational module that truncates LSBs off a signed integer with rounding to nearest, ties to even, plus saturation. The result (Yosys visualization) is

Try https://t.co/5J2Y28tUbG for your next PCB prototype instead of China (not an ad I just consistently have great experience with that establishment)

We're currently working on CanFace3 which will support CAN FD, and have a 2.33 inch LCD display. If you're using CAN, comment if you have any desired features. If you have a CAN adapter, tell us about its pros/cons to help us address pain points.

I moved the bot to a dedicated laptop strategically placed on a rack near my desk, so that I could keep an eye on it while it's doing paperwork, while I am focusing on more important things. If you are still not using agents in your daily work, you are probably missing out big
