Today, a group of ladies were walking ahead of me when one of them dropped a £20 note not knowing. I picked it up and hurried to return. They were genuinely shocked, as if honesty & kindness were rare these days. It's a bit sad that basic decency is now seen as extraordinary. 😕.

I was all set for a lazy weekend, feet up and nothing to do. until I checked my calendar and remembered I have a 4-hour council meeting. On a Saturday. 🙃 Guess serving the community means never knowing what day it is! “Weekends are for rest,” they said. 😅😅
