and the tourism strategy, which was drawn up nearly nine months ago (by the wonderful Dave Cramp ) needs to be taken out of the cupboard it has been locked in and implemented. Every visitor focused venue in the city fed into that and it could be a huge money spinner for our city.

The station quarter needs boards up and shovels in the ground, North Westgate needs to be sorted, the plans for the swimming pool (which should have been ready to go ten years ago) have to finalised quickly, the city centre desperately requires an urgent vision and regeneration,.

Less special advisors and more qualified people in positions of power please. Andrew Pakes for Peterborough I am sure shares some of my frustration about the lack of progress on transformation but now is the time to act.
