The US is seeing an unprecedented wave of migrant child labor right now. Thousands of kids are working overnight in dangerous factories for brands like Cheerios, Fruit of the Loom and Ford. They're here alone and they're being failed in the most basic way. https://t.co/5IlCNTjGdh

Arriving in record numbers, theyโre ending up in dangerous jobs that violate child labor laws โ including in factories that make products for well-known brands like Cheetos and Fruit of the Loom.

They brought the measuring tape out on me. 100 feet away from the sacred urns. Texas keeps it real. #Election2022 #MidtermElections #TexasPolitics

Texas, why do you keep press out of polling places? Look what you are missing out on ๐๐ฝ ๐ท @jaymcalderon
Kathleen Poncher votes at the polling place at the very nice Rancho Mirage Public Library today. #Midterms

The Democrat-led border city of El Paso, Texas, has sent more migrants on buses to New York City and Chicago than a campaign by Texas' Republican governor, a twist in an ongoing partisan battle over U.S. border security https://t.co/qF4W1VTZgM ๐ท Paul Ratje 1/7

As the the U.S. border reopened today to U.S. tourist visa holders a stark reminder that migrants continue to die along the U.S./Mexico as they attempt to enter undocumented.

Texas governor's @GregAbbott_TX "wall of steel" in Del Rio, Texas pushed migrants simply east 1/4 mile where they crossed as seen in these photos I took minutes apart.
Texas has thousands of National Guard & Texas Dept. of Public Safety personnel deployed on the border. The #txlege devoted $3B to fund border security efforts, including building a wall. We've made thousands of arrests & will continue to do so. Texas is securing the border.

Feeling so grateful this morn to the larger community of journalists, who went beyond limits, to document and tell the truths/realities of migrants at the U.S.-MX border. Here before/after images of the camp in Del Rio, taken Sep 19&21 and then on Sep 24. ๐ท @adreeslatif -Reuters
