20 years ago today I drove home from carnoustie with the claret jug in the back seat of my car. Have been a lot of highs and lows since but Ive always been incredibly proud of how we all handled it, thank you to everyone who has supported us 👍 the lawries.

Was on the putting green this morning at Carnoustie when a guy asked me if I was playing the championship course. So I said yes he then asked how much it was to play and had I played it before!! We started laughing so he took his sunglasses off to say oh no it’s paul lawrie 😂.

Getting pretty fed up playing with guys who cheat the system by playing as slow as they want until referee comes then hit it on the run to make sure they don't get penalised then as soon as ref gone its back to taking forever again. We need a better system.

Awful decision as caddie has walked away before putter even behind the ball or player has taken his stance Feel sorry for the caddie as he will be gutted, how about @EuropeanTour officials start enforcing the rules on slow play which is killing the game, painful to watch today.

The work we do @paullawriefound is not to raise golfers to win on tour but when one of our kids does win on tour which happened today it’s an amazing feeling. Everyone at PLF are incredibly proud of @DavidLawGolf and we hope all juniors get inspiration from him.

Just for the record everyone is entitled to their opinion on trollies on tees etc but I think golf needs to move on with less rules more fun. It’s tough for the older generation who were brought up different to today which I respect but we need to move on IMO.
