Tim gave SO freely and frequently of himself so we would all better understand the sacrifices Canadians make in war. And we all relied on and enjoyed his insight. What an understatement to say this is terrible. We are all sending love to his family. https://t.co/fGqaQL8pSG

Sharing this Jewell of Halifax and Nova Scotia with @ukings students in collaboration with. Chris Miller @NSwilderness has been an annual highlight of my times at King’s, made more special by the role the two of us played in its protection. Thank you Chris!

The world of Ontario politics is poorer tonight. Jim Bradley was a touchstone for so many of us across Party lines. Funny, smart, reasonable and sharp always. I hope he and Peter Kormos are having a laugh wherever they are. Sorely missed already. So very sad.

The Montreal urban painter John Little was my mentor and godfather. There is an exhibition of his paintings plus insights into how he worked at the excellent CHATEAU RAMEZAY in Old Montreal, 280 Notre-Dame East, across from City Hall. Exhibition closes on September 28th.

I once appeared before a parliamentary committee of which Ken Dryden was a member. Most of the members were just looking to score partisan points. Save for Ken Dryden, who was genuinely trying to follow what the witnesses were saying. He was the only one who was engaged.
