The seat of Bradfield was won by just 26 votes. Now the defeated Liberal candidate has lodged a High Court appeal over 150 ballot papers that, she claims, could swing the result.

I’m going to block anyone I see - and there’s already a lot of this vile crap flying around - mocking, celebrating, or playing partisan politics with Joe Biden’s health news. The man has served his country for 50yrs and is fighting for his life. Show some bloody respect.

Labor's prospects of retaining Bean are looking better. Jessie Price's lead is now just 4 votes. The addition of 200 declaration ballots broke heavily in Labor's favour. There are still more than 2k of those and hundreds of absents which have also favoured Labor. #auspol

The count in Bean could hardly be any closer. Just 19 votes separate independent Jessie Price and Labor MP David Smith. There could be as many as roughly 8k votes outstanding in the postal/absentee/declaration category. This could take a while. #ausvotes2025

Re: Bean I'm told Labor scruitneers have a much more advanced count than the ABC is currently showing, and the candidates' positions are much the same. That would make it hard for David Smith to hold on. #ausvotes
