Today we celebrated 9 fantastic young people who have completed our Joint Venture with @morgansindallc!. Over the past year our Shared Apprentices have completed #ModernApprenticeships & now move to full time employment with our partners!. Congratulations to each of them 👏

This week seen our 10 week childcare programme come to an end with a Teddy bears picnic.🧺 They learned about planning activities, SHANARRI wellbeing, basic child development and had a very successful nursery visit. After Easter they will start a nursery placement. Well done 🙌🤩

Our talented young people have been working hard with @FirstStepsFT to transform the school courtyard at @St_Maurice_High! From joinery and groundwork to painting, they’ve put their skills into action, and the results so far speak for themselves. Amazing work by everyone! 👏

Educational training 🤩. This week our young people took part in a drugs and alcohol awareness session @routestowork . These sessions are an important part of the programme to help raise awareness of the damage that can be caused by taking drugs and alcohol. 😊

Scottish Apprenticeship Week kicks of today with online session delivered for North Lanarkshire pupils and their families across the week. On Tuesday evening join our early careers team to find out about Modern Apprenticeships with the council. Tuesday 4th March 6.00 – 6.30pm.

Our mechanics group has been learning new skills and gaining experience in mechanics @Bosch_STB_LAGTA. Working on wheels, tyres, and exhausts.

The girls attending Beauty have been learning new skills in spray tanning and hair extensions. They will be receiving certificates which will allow them to put these skills into practice out with the Pathways Programme. Well done 👏
