when Dylan did his 'Christian albums' - the thought was, “we listen to Dylan to figure out what life is all about, to comfort us - whose records is Bob supposed to listen to? There's nobody but God for Bob to turn to - to get whatever it is we all get from listening to Bob."

A friend met Bobby Gillespie Primal Scream - gave him Listen Whitey CD - Bobby said “I have the book, it's great, I dug it" - looks at CD and says "he got Bob Dylan to hand over the "George Jackson" song - that's heavy, I've got the original single, man, this is wonderful stuff"
