2).Texas HS's have actual certified strength & conditioning coaches in the weightrooms for programming design and teaching each sports S&C plan. MA HS weightrooms will have an english teacher watching over the athletes with the program designed by a history teacher.

1). Texas's weight rooms and training areas are bigger than our colleges up here in Massachusetts. MA HS's weightrooms are almost an afterthought and can't service all the athletes the schools have (both size of the weightrooms and equipment they have).

I put on a sports performance event down in Texas a few years ago at McKinney High School and got to see some other great HS while down there. Here are a couple of differences that I saw compared to Massachusetts.
