Im not saying 1B defense doesn't matter, it is just harder to measure than every other position.

Here is a flaw with DRS/OAA for 1B. This doesn't hurt them. There are so many nuanced ways that 1B impact the game that reall cannot be quantified my OAA/DRS/FRV, which is why fWAR isn't as important for them as raw offensive output IMO.

I will say, I was one of the only people that had McLean over Tong. Tonight you kind of saw why. Lack of SL to righties and unsustainable high FF usage makes him less polished. He has a TON of potential but it will take a little more time to reach it than McLean.

A pitcher I want to highlight is Eury Perez, who has been a t10 pitcher in baseball since his return on June 9th. Being 12th in fWAR, and 8th in FIP, he has been an ACE since his return from TJ.
