We believe that something needs to be said about how YouTube manages/interacts with its creators. In recent times, we've talked to countless other creators who have been demonetized for unfair reasons and have been forced to take a similar course of action.

Trust me, we've tried fighting for this: reaching out to channel partners, customer service, resubmitting denied appeals, and even bringing this to twitter. Unfortunately, nothing worked. So, after a long discussion, this is what Planet and I agreed was the best course of action.

Hi everyone! Planet and I are incredibly sorry, but YouTube is still refusing to monetize The Cusp. These videos cost a lot to make, and funding them out of pocket is unsustainable. We are going to end it here, and we really appreciate everybody who watched the first episode.

@ParrotXP sometimes we have to make tough decisions, which means channels that don't meet our monetization policies can't be approved for YPP. you can apply following the date indicated in your Studio, as long as your channel meets the requirements. thx for understanding.
