Rainhill to commemorate 80th anniversary of VE Day with service

It is the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day this Thursday 8th May. Rainhill British Legion are holding a service at the war memorial at 2pm followed by refreshments at Rainhill Ex-Services Club Everyone is welcome so if you have some time free please come down 🇬🇧

Reports about the traffic lights on the roundabout at Rainhill Stoops only being on green for approximately 4 seconds in the mornings resulting in delays. I have spoken to highways earlier today and they are going to arrange for an engineer to come out and inspect the lights.
