Sucks to see that the art direction & visual fidelity of current Sonic games nowadays is either cheap or just shit. What used to be a big part of what made them appealing & unique has been on a decline, whether if it’s a mainline or spin-off game.
Apotos from Sonic Unleashed will be added as a Course in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds!. The beautiful country is recreated with its white streets contrasting against the blue sky. There's some buzz around the renowned sundae supreme! 🍨. Wishlist now >

The more I replay Shadow Generations, the more I notice how weak the environment design is in comparison to Sonic Generations. Sachiko Kawamura not being the art director going forward is disappointing, her work was easily the best thing to look forward to in these games.

Never got to post this here, but last year I finished this model based on Sonic's design from Sonic Origins' Opening. The last segment from the opening has very good designs for the characters, always wondered who was responsible for it. More at: .
