One turning point for me was the Grantha Lipi workshop, where I explored the historical significance of Grantha in South Indian Sanskrit literature. It was eye-opening to see how not-so-old printed media risks becoming inaccessible due to the fading knowledge of this script.

Vinodh’s contributions to palæography and Unicode have shown how community-driven efforts can make native scripts accessible in our digital lives, empowering all kinds of people to read, write, and engage with content in the scripts they’ve always known. ✍🏿
