Obamacare is anything but affordable. Instead of continuing to pump money into the coffers of insurance companies, @POTUS has an idea that will result in better outcomes for Americans.

@larry_levitt We could give Americans’ health care freedom, protect people with pre-existing conditions, spend a lot less money than Obamacare, and avoid its inflationary premium and price spiral that benefits big insurers and has led to massive amounts of fraud.

Yes. Fund lower-income people and give them options, not more subsidies for insurers in a failing, cost-escalating program. Low hanging fruit: fund CSRs to lower premiums and deficits and permit enrollees to take that funding as an HSA contribution. https://t.co/c9v4iNlBMy

This is not a compromise. This is ridiculous. No reforms Massive new handouts to big insurers $35 billion in higher deficits Exacerbate already massive fraud & phantom enrollees Reduce private coverage Exacerbate health care inflation No new options Rewards hostage-taking
News: Among other things, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will propose that Dems will support reopening the government if Republicans agree to attach one year ACA subsidies extension, per three sources W/ @AndrewDesiderio

Meet the victims of Biden’s COVID Credits ⬇️ https://t.co/hvN4Zuw5W6
Democrats are in a complete state of denial about the damage done by Obamacare: Senator Blumenthal: “I don’t know of anyone who has been harmed by Obamacare.” Huh? What about… • Disabled children stuck on home healthcare waiting lists, crowded out by able-bodied adults. •

📊New from Paragon: The government provides a far greater tax benefit to individuals on Obamacare than individuals covered by their employer. ACA subsidies—especially w/ COVID credits—penalize workers who get employer-based insurance. 🔗 https://t.co/kUWpHYv7ak

New @Paragon_Inst brief. One big takeaway: the government provides much greater tax/subsidy benefits to people who do not receive employer-sponsored insurance (ESI). It's unfair to workers with ESI. It's expensive. It leads employers to drop coverage. https://t.co/iaVrnSbj9M

Due to the ACA, the individual market depends on massive taxpayer subsidies that raise costs and give insurers enormous pricing power.

WATCH: Paragon's @brian_blase briefly explains why the enhanced premium tax credits should expire. "Real reform does not mean increasing taxpayer subsidies. It means giving consumers choices to buy plans that best meet their needs."

Despite the headlines, 2026 Obamacare premiums aren’t spiking because of Biden’s expiring COVID credits. They account for only 3.3% of next year’s premiums. The real problem? Obamacare’s structure and rising medical costs. https://t.co/CB5mvZQ51y
