When you really dive into the numbers, you can tell Shaq REALLY wanted to be in Carolina. He was owed 24.5M in 2023. That was spread over the 5 years (2023-2027). We got Shaq for an additional playing year (2024) without adding any new money to his contract. EXTREMELY RARE.
