Thank you to all who supported the 9th annual NHS Food Drive. The elem collected hundreds of non-perishable food items donated to the high school food pantry & the local food pantry at Faith Bible Church. NHS set up a hot chocolate stand for donations & trick-treating for food.

The 8th gr visited a prairie, Dallas Center, & collected seeds. The kids worked hard & were positive. The seeds will be used on our prairie, to enhance our genetic diversity & improve our prairie health. Thanks Mike Delaney & the Panora Isaac Walton League, for their generosity!

Citizen of the Week is Adelyn Brewster! She comes to school every day willing to learn and better herself. She is accountable for her actions and respectful towards all of her peers. I appreciate that she is always willing to lend a helping hand, and her positive mindset.

Mr. Thompson’s 7th gr math class tried something new to help prepare for their assessment. They formed 2 circles to create partners. Next, one of the circles was rotated to create a new partner discussion for the next question. It created many different discussions & strategies.
