Western audiences seem unbothered when Palestinians are dying by the hundreds at each other’s hands—because violence within Arab communities gets written off as “tribal” or “internal.” But when Israel is involved, suddenly the outrage emerges. The double standard is glaring
BREAKING: Gazans are pleading with the world to stop Hamas from continuing public executions, saying that hundreds have been murdered in just the past 72 hours. Where is the media? Where are all of the Western ‘pro-Palestinians?’

The entire Jewish community, no matter where in the world, is glued to their screens right now nervously watching the release of the hostages. Physically we might be in different places, but spiritually we are all in the same crowd cheering, crying, hoping, together.

I second this report as I recently returned to the US from Israel myself. The mix of hope and grief was palpable; the extreme sports of dialectics.
"As I boarded my plane out of Tel Aviv on Oct. 10, pure joy was in the air. It permeated every space, billboard sign and hotel. Israelis weren’t celebrating vengeance. They were relishing the prospect of peace, security and the end of a nightmare." - @SpencerGuard

At Hostage Square tonight, people are singing “Shalom Aleinu”, the iconic song about how “Peace will come upon us yet, and upon everyone”. It is testament to what makes our people unbreakable. Even after everything, we still choose hope. We still sing of peace.

Israelis gather at Hostage Square, singing Yerushalayim Shel Zahav, while they wait for the hostages to come home at last. Wish I was there. 🥹❤️

Two years ago today, Avinatan and I came to the Nova Music Festival to celebrate life, but we found ourselves in the dark tunnels of Gaza. I can’t even begin to describe the horrible atrocities of that day. Thousands of young people running in the fields, hundreds of cars trying

Breaking: There has been an attack from Yemen on a hotel / tourist area in the southern Israeli city of Eilat. A dozen injured, with a couple in serious condition. Do not expect much reporting of this at all. The media are all too busy celebrating 'Palestine'.

“Palestinians don’t want a state next to Israel, they want a state instead of Israel…” “They had a state for 20 years after Israel left Gaza, which ended in 7th October… “ “The Palestinians have said no to every offer of a negotiated state…” “It’s a reward for terrorism…”

Tomorrow is Rosh Hashana. My last one in France. I came here as a young American with dreams of haute couture. Paris was my American dream — and oh, how you delivered. For 26 years I gave my heart to couture and then to haute maroquinerie. Chanel, Balmain, Sonia Rykiel gave me

Excited to share that one of the first projects I worked on in grad school was just accepted in AIDS and Behavior! We used mixed methods + the Health Beliefs Model to explore barriers & facilitators to PrEP adherence among trans & nonbinary folks. 🏳️⚧️ #HIV #PrEP #TransHealth

We had a great time this past weekend at our annual Community Appreciation BBQ! We served hot dogs and burgers, distributed harm reduction and hygiene supplies, and connected with the community. Thank you to our community members and volunteers for keeping each other safe!
