We've compared PRG only vs PRG/WC vs Multispecies over 5 full production cycles in a dairy calf to beef system. For the first 4 years PRG/WC and MSS animal performance were comparable, this year we slaughtered the MSS cattle 5 weeks earlier than the PRG/WC cattle. ~longterm study.
@Agrivetbusiness @wileyinresearch @bhoranIRL Still a key question for future livestock studies relates to whether there’s added value in multispecies over grass:clover. In studies over two-three years, they’re comparable; IMO more likely to differentiate on other environmental features- soil health, emissions, nitrates.
