Dropped #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines after Ep4. Could not connect with leads' feeling for each other. Their "love" was just posed as a given since the beginning--nothing I saw developed or earned it for me. And that's not an emotion I can connect with in this stage of life.

Watched #TraumaCode. Solid, if unremarkable, drama. JUST fast-paced enough, JUST short enough & JUST exciting enough to make you forget its characters have no substance. No depth beyond "oh, the doctors care; nice." Also, a merc that's a good human? Gimme a break, Deadpool.

I regularly rewatch Man From Nowhere. Or at least I used to. Against my better judgment, I tried to rewatch it. Watching a kid Kim Sae Ron--hugging an elder that she trusted--absolutely broke me. I don't think I'll be rewatching it anymore.

I want to see more big, dramatic actors ham it up in cheesy romcoms reminiscent of the 2000s. Where is Lee Joon Gi in his My Girl era? Where are Kim Sun Ah and Hyun Bin doing a My Lovely Sam Soon? Dramatic actors who can bring gravitas to dumb romcoms and I am here for it!
