Speaking of "Grazing to Reduce Blazing", here's our Part II. This science share out was with UH's Dr. Clay Trauernicht; Raia Olsen of O‘ahu Grazers, Dr. Elliott Parsons, DLNR. They presented how-tos on hiring island professional grazers and lessons learned for contract grazing.

Did you know that Palau has been inhabited for 3,000 years and has high levels of endemism (locally unique) species. Like elsewhere in western Pacific islands, fire is set intentionally and is more common from March to April. Learn more here:
