I am enjoying Season 17. The atmosphere of the Smugglers is nice, plus the "simplicity" of doing the quest gives me something to do while I'm still actively looking for ships to interact with. I think that this Season could be easily improved if they lean into making turn ins.

I feel like we’ve reached the “short form” era of gaming. Some Indy devs are striking gold selling millions of copies of goofy co op games for 5-10 dollars for 10 hours of gameplay, while AAA developers are massing huge costs in an oversaturated market where consumers are.

I constantly have streams where 2-3-4 hours pass and I find maybe a few things worth interacting with. Its mostly empty seas or players at outposts that quit before even un-anchoring. I do see the hourglass ships, however.

I've said this for a long time now: Dive vs Dive hourglass ruined Adventure. 2+ ship slots being taken from the server cap makes it incredibly hard to find any meaningful player interaction.
