Kayla Fericy and I recently co-founded the SHPE graduate student chapter at Duke. Since then, we have been serving as co-presidents, overseeing strategies to empower the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and impact the world through STEM access and support.

As part of this program, we developed workshops, career conversations and panels to empower PhD students at Duke to succeed on their career paths through acquiring skills, mastering core competencies, and exploring opportunities.
