. animations look better in real life. I'd speculate it's a Youtube video's frame rate issue which ends up not capturing animations at 100% fidelity. Twitter videos seem to do a better job at this, but image quality looks worse.

. About CSS transition support:.This introduces basic animation support in CSS. Won't be able to do it on Background and Borders for now. Work is already underway to also support that in a next release.
