Couldn't agree more. I'd have to be desperate to get with the blind bag shtick.
The proliferation of blind bags with variant covers from comic publishers seems like a gimmick on top of a gimmick. I get it, it's another revenue stream for publishers and retailers (and artists hired for covers), but feels like it does little to add actual readers. Thoughts?
