Last week, PVVFD was dispatched to a commercial fire. Fire attack crew searched the area and found fire coming from a pedicure spa chair. Thanks to a single fire sprinkler the fire was kept from spreading until firefighters arrived to fully extinguish the fire.

PVVFD responded to reports of a burning smell. Thermal Imaging Camera was used, hotspot found on the floor. An electrical box in the crawlspace was found to be malfunctioning & overheating. Quick recognition of odor & immediately calling 9-1-1 prevented something much worse.
