High Street has reopened at Mid Street and Dunnikier Way following a fire at a disused building on Saturday, 13 September. The fire was put out by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there are no reported injuries. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in Kirkcaldy. Officers received a report that the sexual assault occurred in woodland, between Dunnikier Way and Hendry Road around 2.30pm on Thurs, 11 Sept. Enquiries are ongoing.
