Air pollution knows no city boarders. In our recent paper, we identify the sources of primary and secondary aerosols arriving in Beijing by relying on the finest mass spectrometers deployed in the center of Beijing. Effective mitigation strategies require joint efforts ⬇️.

We have two open PhD positions in the multiphase chemistry group related to the impact of transition metals on 1) dark and photochemical aging of anthropogenic and biogenic SOA and on 2) the photochemical reduction of iodate and nitrate in secondary aerosol. ⬇️.
