PSASB staff, during a policy development session, focused on formulating a comprehensive disposal policy designed to safeguard public assets, prevent value leakage, enhance transparency, and ensure optimal realisation of value for money in the disposal of public sector resources.

We utilise the FiRe Award evaluation reports in three strategic ways: No1.: To Award Excellence - we recognise and celebrate entities that demonstrate excellence in financial reporting, with a view to reinforcing good reporting practices across the public sector.

This year, we recorded a higher number of clean reports in some traditionally challenging categories which include NGCDF, Political Parties, County Assemblies & National MDAs. The progress is an indication that our efforts over the years are bearing fruit - FCPA Georgina Muchai

We are proud to note a significant rise in the public sector entries this year. We evaluated 1,397 entities, up from 1020 last year. This is a 37% increase. The growth is due to the great efforts by the OAG, which completed its reports earlier than in previous cycles. @OAG_Kenya
