PPL adds 8.5 MMscfd gas with successful workover of Adam West X-1ST at operated Hala Block, Sindh. The well started producing in 2015. In 2019, due to water breakthrough its production completely ceased. Sidetrack with rig was found technocommercially viable to revive production.

PPL commences Early Production from its operated Dhok Sultan-3, Dhok Sultan Block, since November 1; aims to ramp-up production up to 1400 bbl/d oil, 2.5 MMscfd gas & 15 ton/d LPG. Oil is processed at DS Oil Handling Facility & gas is transported to Meyal Gas Processing Facility.

PPL-operated BME signs MoU with Amreli Steels Limited for sale of Iron Ore: The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by MD&CEO PPL Sikandar Memon and Chairman BoD ASL Abbas Akberali on October 28 in Karachi. BME is a joint venture between Government of Balochistan and PPL.

PPL's 74th AGM was held in Karachi on October 27. The shareholders approved the financial statements for FY ended on June 30, 2025, along with the auditor’s report. A final cash dividend of 25% on ordinary shares was also approved, bringing the total dividend for the year to 75%.

PPL recently concluded 4 free-of-cost medical camps for underserved communities in District Musakhel, Balochistan between October 10 & 25, reaching over 1000 residents, mostly women & children in the district’s small towns, including Drug, Kot Mohammad Khan Tangi Sar and Toi Sar.

Bolan Mining Enterprises (BME), a JV between GoB & PPL, signs Facility Agreement for BLZ Project; Board Meeting held on October 14 in Quetta: This marks a crucial step in advancing development of baryte, lead and zinc resources in Balochistan.

CM Balochistan, on September 21, visited the first-ever Computer Training Centre and library established by PPL at Sui in 2009, a beacon of digital learning and development for youth in Sui and surrounding areas. Over 1500 students are trained & 1000 locals are library members.

Sikandar Ali Memon has been appointed CEO/ MD of PPL on September 21, 2025. A seasoned industry professional with over 30 years of diverse international & national leadership experience in oil and gas production, Memon joined PPL on November 1, 2023, as Chief Operating Officer.
