Great to be out & about in Norwich today where our @SimondsLocalBus team have successfully mobilised Norwich Park & Ride routes PR2 and PR3. Branding and publicity at the sites looks fab too. Exciting times ahead with lots of scope for growth as we develop this essential service.

A great start to the day with a lift down to @Flagfinders Kelvedon depot on the Coggeshall Community Bus. My first time travelling, and it was great, really impressive community service. Good to catch up with our colleagues at Kelvedon depot too.

A nice sunny day to be catching a bus from outside our @CC_EssexHerts Stansted depot. Delighted to be adding this stop back to our growing local network in a few weeks too as we prepare to mobilise routes 322, 323 and 324 for @TravelEssexNews.

Family trip to Buxton has given me the chance for a quick loop round the top of the Peak District, starting with BSIP-funded route 62 from @HighPeakLive - one that’s been on my “to do” list for some time, as it passes through some beautifully scenic and rural areas.

Sustainable transport options for special events can be limited, especially when they occur in the evenings or on Sundays. We've been delighted to operate special Christmas buses this year for @CHYMLeics, linking rural areas to market towns for Christmas fayres & markets.

Two Norwich Park & Ride sites join the @TMSGroup_ in 2025, as part of our ongoing expansion of our @SimondsLocalBus network. I’m out with our Product team today getting to know the routes we’ll be running and planning marketing and publicity enhancements.

Strong biscuit choices at the @TravelEssexNews Winter Transport Meeting. Great to meet a wide range of local passenger stakeholders & representative groups, & discuss opportunities to further develop our network across #Essex. Very few bus problems a chocolate Hobnob can’t fix.

Our capital investment strategy goes beyond shiny buses, & covers important behind the scenes assets as well... like shiny vans! Two brand new, fully customised service vans hitting the road for @SimondsLocalBus and @CC_EssexHerts, with full safety and welfare facilities onboard.

Great to see the hard work of our @CC_EssexHerts team recognised here. We've invested significant resource into new fleet, enhanced branding & marketing, and depot upgrades for our colleagues, and the results out on the road & in our patronage statistics speak for themselves👏👏

Productive afternoon in #Leicestershire auditing bus stops with our local authority partner @CHYMLeics, as part of our ongoing programme of roadside infrastructure improvements. Always nice to have an excuse to take the van for a spin!

Revenue protection duties for me this afternoon on our @CC_EssexHerts network, with busy buses seen in and around Harlow and Epping. We’ve got brand new double deckers coming to this part of the network in January 2025 to support the strong growth we’re seeing in the area.

Nice to get out and about on our @CC_EastEngland patch this week, auditing bus stop infrastructure with our marketing team and learning more about the local communities that we serve. Enhanced roadside publicity material coming soon to Bingham, Grantham and Peterborough 👍

I’m helping our Operations team out tonight covering a late shift in our Service Delivery Centre, responding to disruption across the network. Always an interesting experience, you never know what the next phone call could bring! Nothing 🫖 and 🍪 can’t solve though.

Despite having fewer than 700 residents, Tiree boasts two local bus services (albeit schooldays only), operated by two different operators! Both depots are on the same road, with the airport in between, so the visiting transport enthusiast is spoiled for choice.

Integrated transport running smoothly in (on?) Barra this afternoon. Plane to bus transfer via baggage reclaim and now underway to Castlebay.

It's coming home! And before our coaches have even set off for home from Dusseldorf, our fab team have confirmed we'll be back again next week for the Semi Final in Dortmund! Thanks to Ops, Marketing & Tech teams for making this happen!
