PIMA’s CEC met in Islamabad, reviewing 6-month progress & provincial updates. Plans were set for upcoming development, advocacy & relief work. Souvenirs were given to Prof. Hafeez ur Rehman, Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Dr. Muhammad Tahir Azam for their notable contributions.

Final day of the 5-day central visit concluded with engagements in Muzaffargarh, Multan & Bahawalpur. Prof. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui and Dr. Ahmad Salman Ghauri, along with Dr. Irfanullah Malik, met PIMA members and doctors to discuss organizational matters and introduce PIMA.

Prof. Nisar Ahmed Shaikh has been elected as President of PIMA Larkana for the 2025–27 session. He graduated from Chandka Medical College Larkana in 1990 and completed his MS in Urology from Punjab University in 2002. He has served as Professor of Urology at SMBBMU, Larkana.

Diabetes Awareness & Screening | 📍Shikarpur PIMA Shikarpur held activities in connection with World Diabetic Day, including an awareness session, on-site lab tests for blood sugar and HbA1c, and free OPD services for 186 patients. A vascular Doppler test was also conducted.
