The Agronomy Team at Silverado Resort has been using the @GreenKeeper WhiteBoard to manage their staff and daily jobs since spring. The Presentation mode helps communicate details with staff member and contains notes, job details, equipment assignments, and now even pictures.

Data as a tool, not a chore. The staff at Silverado balance data collection with time efficiency. They use #ClipVol & Stimp readings to adjust mowing and rolling, @GreenKeeperApp PGR models to dial in growth rate, and moisture meters plus a wX station to direct handwatering.

While not a glamous as cutting cups, tee service might be one of the most important golfer facing jobs each morning. When golfing with other non-turfies, it's common to hear comments about tee marker misaligned, tees set to close to the edge, markers placed withing more forward

Getting back to my roots as I set the tee markers this morning for the @ProcoreChamp. I think I did this job for @JerryKershasky 50 days in a row during my first summer working on a course.

We're excited to be in Napa as @dwalter174 and his team prepare for this week's @ProcoreChamp. They're @GreenKeeperApp super users who use PGR models to dial in turf performance, WhiteBoard to manage staff, and rX sensors to document fairway health. Best of luck this week!

@PGRBill @GreenKeeperApp Congratulations Bill, your @GreenKeeperApp continues to be an asset to our operations…the daily data collection, interpretations plus the forecast ET reference water loss relative to irrigation/precipitation has been valuable this season. A MUST education subscription. 👊👏✅

Wow, finally a break in the humid weather. The dew point is forecast to drop into the 40s! The wX station at Ager captured dew points near 80F yesterday. Include a wX station in your 2026 budget to get the most accurate weather data in your GreenKeeper account next season.

The soil surfactant modeling research continues. Thanks to @SimplotTurf and @Aquatrols for supporting this round of research. Six new treatments applied to large research plots - half putting greens - to create models for @GreenKeeperApp this fall.

My dad is in town and pulled this club from his bag. He said it was his dad's, it's 70 years old, and he typically plays it once a round. Then my dad put his shot on the middle of the green from 190.

I'm pretty sure that I spend more time blocking bots on this platform than interacting with the content that I care about. What a dumpster fire. On the flip-side, the LinkedIn turf community really seems to be growing. Are you experiencing the same?

Wow, last night's storms were crazy. The 90+ MPH winds caused widespread damage. My neighbor's house took the brunt of a 70' pine tree. Good luck to everyone starting cleanup in Eastern, NE this weekend.

The Nebraska turfgrasses are ready for a break. The @GreenKeeperApp wX station has been capturing the pain. High day and night temperatures plus 99% humidity nearly every night (air temp meets the dew point). Three quarters of an inch of rain and cool air expected tonight.

Automation of data collection - crop and soil sensors, weather station networks, etc. - and AI classification of stress stand to dramatically improve the efficiency of data collection, improve model accuracy, and dramatically enhance the value of models to turf managers.

Simple but actionable data collection will continue to guide turf management decisions via models. These tools are designed to assist - not replace - the decisions made by turf managers. Collect only enough data to balance time required with model accuracy & value .
