FATAL PEDESTRIAN COLLISION: Officers responded near the intersection of Wheeler Road and Birchtree Lane at approximately 12:18 am for the report of a pedestrian collision. Officers located an adult male unresponsive in the roadway. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged a suspect in connection with the murder of his girlfriend. The suspect is 32-year-old Harry Lindsey of Landover. He’s charged with fatally shooting 29-year-old Sharita Cristwell of Bladensburg.
