Too kind, Fiona. Lots of mutual sharing of approaches and techniques. I was actually looking at some of my old AA PowerPoints on data only last night. Hope Headship is going well. Overdue a catch-up!.

Splendid meeting of the Every Dundee Learner Matters strategy group. Mainly involving headteachers, the group is creating a self-improving system based on expertise that exists within schools. The role of LA colleagues in facilitating these developments is another major factor.

‘Recognising a strong link between absence and attainment, Morgan Academy launched a project to try to boost attendance, particularly among those from deprived backgrounds.’

Every Dundee Learner Matters (EDLM) is underpinned by principles of equity. EDLM focuses on Three Ps: presence, participation & progress. One tenet is that all settings have at least one school Inquiry group (SIG). Some SIGs, like in @morganacademy1, are focused on Presence.
