The cartels are taking over the state of Oregon, while the one person who should be fighting this scourge, Dan Rayfield, is in DC “fighting the tariffs.”.

Two illegal migrants were arrested in Oregon after being pulled over and being found with 120 pounds of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine in Linn County. Jesus Campos Roman, a Mexican, and Eduar David Freites-Mosquera, a Bolivian, were allegedly transporting the deadly drugs

Ah, a time honored Portland tradition as old as time: capitulate to the fascist radicals in the vainglorious hope that they don’t tear up your business while the pathetic leadership sits back and allows it to happen.

Businesses downtown Portland are boarding up windows. Is a tantrum planned for the near future? Pioneer place was also boarding up some spots

With the utter incompetence of this city, I predict the city will lose their NBA team, while building an MLB ballpark for a team that will never arrive. Portland is a prime example of what can happen to a city in a decade once the wrong people gain control of it.

Mayor Wilson backs off previous statements and he is now instructing city employees to comply with the Trump administration’s DEI mandates. It will be interesting to see how the far left contingent of the city council will react.

Yes.Because of union rules, layoffs are based on seniority — not performance. So the newer frontline workers (often the ones doing the hardest physical work) are the first to go. Meanwhile, execs and long-time desk staff stay protected.

@PDXReal1 I think its due to union seniority. workers who are newest to ODOT are the ones who are actually doing all the hard work, and first to be laid off, unfortunately. Government jobs don't consider work ethic, only seniority.

ODOT isn’t planning to layoff the five executive directors. They’re not touching project managers, consultants, or the DEI department. They’re planning to layoff maintenance crews — the people who actually fix roads. And remember:.ODOT has added over 400 positions since 2021.

This week, ODOT employees started getting layoff notices — by email from HR. They’re told to stay near their phone during a specific time window for a call. After that? They get 1 hour to decide:.Take the layoff — or bump another employee with less seniority. The entire process.

Here is the Stateman Journal's article about this in January of 2015. At the time nearly 70% of all interstate moves within the state were people moving to the state.

This insanity of this is that Oregon was the top "moving to" destination 10 years ago - for three consecutive years, no less - 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Portland city councilor Angelita Morillo’s response about Jacob Hoopes’ arrest for aggravated assault on a police officer is beyond parody. She also showed up at his rally for his release.

Councilor Angelita Morillo has already posted today about being against facial recognition software, which was used to identify Hoopes. That’s not a coincidence. This is an organized effort from those who are supposed to be leaders of our city.

Sorenson claims she’s been talking to groups such as the DSA and her city council reps in District 2, who she claims know Hoopes personally, apparently to organize and protest Hoopes’ arrest. Pay close attention to how these individuals react to this arrest.

Other than the lying, gaslighting, the delusional thinking, and the pathological main character syndrome world these people exist in, I find their cadence of speech to be odd and off-putting. I find nothing they say as being genuine or believable. They set off alarms in my.

Vehement anti-police city council member, Candace Avalos, blames the arrest of violent Antifa militant, Jacob Hoopes, on President Trump. She never mentions what Hoopes has been charged with (aggravated assault of a police officer).
