Slow rate of spread of the fire in Oaks Bottom. Command officer has directed engine companies to the spring water trail to act as mobile water supply without many available the absence of fire hydrants.

Crews on scene of a vehicle rolled onto its side on SE 89th between Steele and Ellis. One person standing outside the vehicle on crews arrival and crews were able to get assist a second person out of the vehicle by removing the windshield.

The house is built partially on stilts, making operations more challenging. Our crews have trained extensively on this type of construction, and have plans in place for how to adapt.
