Today, I joined @GovernorShapiro at the Scranton School District to highlight the vital work underway to ensure every learner has the opportunity to thrive -- both in the classroom and beyond.
Thank you to Miss Z's first grade class here at Isaac Tripp Elementary School for letting me give a guest lesson on how a bill becomes a law. It's all about teamwork, compromise, and working together. Enjoy your extra hour of recess👏

I had a chance to talk to this group of bi-lingual advocates from PennAEYC at the Capitol. These educators are advocating for greater access to high-quality, affordable early childhood education opportunities and for workers to be supported.

Today, I had the opportunity to read "Super Brady: Always on the Move" at Richboro Elementary. Sharing stories like this helps students not only build literacy skills, they build empathy, understanding, a stronger community, & create a positive, inclusive school environment.

Last month, I had an enlightening visit to Hillcrest Elementary School with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging! I was able to meet with students, educators, & SAGE (Senior Adults for Greater Education) volunteers. It was great seeing this intergenerational learning!
