Participants will go through an extensive workshop with focus on visual literacy, writing for publication, safety and other skills that will be tested in hands-on field exercises, to be facilitated and given by journalists from different publications and agencies.

This time, through the efforts of the local government of Eastern Samar, we are bringing the workshop closer to journalists in the Visayas region. The five-day workshop tackles all the areas that are needed in the practice of photojournalism in today’s media landscape.

Throughout its history, the only comprehensive workshop on visual journalism given by working photojournalists has tried to reach as many practitioners willing to hone their skills across the country.
