Delighted to be working on developing this programme with @gaalearning . Har the potential to be transformational for bothe the new wellbeing curriculum and how all our gaelic games are delivered in our schools.
Pupils in Junior Infants, Senior Infants 1st class have been piloting the new GAA initiative Gaelic Time with their teachers and Matthew over the last few weeks. GDA Eoin took the pupils today for see how their fundamental movements have been progressing @LimerickGAAzine

Another easy to set up Hurling themed game for the u5’s-7s. 1 team Knock down the cones with the noodles with their hurling hand & 1 team picks up the cones with their hurling hand or ball hand. Hurling is easy to coach. Make it fun and let them play.

An option for Irish schools to cut swimming costs?
We have loved our first four weeks of having @_beyondphysical pop-up pool in our MUGA. The Year 4 children have made great progress following their daily swimming lessons, and children from all years have enjoyed the fun after-school pool sessions🏊

Parachute 🤝 Hurling Light balls, Tennis balls, sliothars in the parachute followed by baytin’ balls everywhere. Play, Fun, Laughter & a bit of Hurling. Hurling is easy to coach. Anyone from anywhere can do it.

Flag Belt Tag, developing the skills of agility, balance & strategy. Game 1, anyone can pull anyone’s flag. Game 2, purple vs yellow. Game 3, anyone can pull anyone’s flag, plus if your flagged is pulled, leave the circle & you can choose 1 push-up or 2 jumping jacks.
