It's a delight to watch the farewell lecture of my biggest inspiration in Science, Prof. Ruedi Aebersold of the ETH Zurich. Thank you for the 6-month
research visit in 2011 and the many opportunities to learn from you. Life goes on.

This is an EPIC human rights issue.
What are those beating the drums for human rights doing about this?
Or human rights are preserved for some people?

Speaking so calmly and gracefully makes the news even worse and incredibly sad.
In moments like this I hope that one we can deal with cancer in clear and decisive manner.
Fellow Citizens,
Many us are irked by the gross failure of Akufo Addo. But before we hang our hopes on the once deposed leader for his failure. Let’s ask him why he didn’t complete the much demanded constitutional review initiated by Prof. Mills?
No lies.
Let’s find true HOPE.
@Joy997FM
This is very disrespectful.
How can you describe Prof. Nana Jane Opoku Agyeman in such derogatory terms?
This lady is one of the high achievers of this land.
Vice Chancellor of University of Cape Coast.
This is very sad.

This should end all wars. We don’t need manufactured disasters. Nature has too many disasters than we can cope. Yet humans have found ways to top it with own manufactured disasters. Egregious!!

This is the face of corruption right there.
It’s not about national development where every citizen will benefit.
But rather grabbing power to squander the little resources of the nation on their friends and families.
What a SHAME!!??!
@NAkufoAddo
The manner by which elected governments are quickly privatized for selfish gain ought to be outlawed. We cannot condemn coups and celebrate family and friends government. Right now in Ghana progress is held hostage by a finance minister who is the relative of the president.
Today I reached a new phase of realizing the power of working at interface of materials, organisms, methods, approaches and strategies. And I have been gradually learning why I have always been uneasy. Today it scaled to the next stage.

This shows why ordering for research reagents should not become a nightmare. How was the team going to find the reagents with this world lockdown? We are saved by some earlier stocks of reagents in this situation. Procurement for research reagents should not take months!!

These statements should be taken as treasonous or impeachable or both.
Which part of the constitution says that development policy should be based on voting patterns??
This idea that AMR is due to misuse of antibiotics is only partially right and mainly wrong.
The bigger problem is what we classify as antibiotics over the past 70 yrs. All classes of antibiotics are single chemical agents which kill certain bacteria species with high lethality.
@GabbyDarko
Your government has failed. No amount of fighting the media will change that. Your people have been extremely disappointing on many counts. AMERI, PDS, ZOOMLOIN, KELNIN GVG, GALAMSEY, etc. Deal with that dubious record. We campaigned for change in 2016 only for wolves to emerge.
We had a new friend visit us this afternoon. Legon campus is a beautiful garden within the bustling city of Accra. A nice haven for birds. We look forward to another visit soon.

What does "almost life-threatened" even mean? How about the dangers of false reportage? Attributing events to unconnected actors to cause mass hysteria, rampage, riots and deaths? For the peace of the nation stick to journalism and not rabble rousing drama!!!
With more than twice the population of the USA but had similar levels of infections at one point but the EU used great leadership to change the course of COVID19 in record time. This is the danger inherent in democracy without guide rails. Elections can produce toxic outcomes.

Failed leader.
Why didn’t you campaign for the constitutional review initiated by President Mills to be completed by Mahama.
You fail the nation and then turn around and to complain. What is wrong with these people?

Bank of Ghana didn’t lose, it cancelled the debt owed it by the nation.
It’s not that of a big deal.
The bigger problem will be keeping that debt leading to the total debt registering as unsustainable. Creating a buoyant economy is critical, even private banks cancel debts.

Will that earn dividends for students long after they have completed school? A levy is unfair. Monies paid should be converted into shares for students. Same day their children would be able to stay in that hostel and used the accrued money to settle their bill.

Which targeting mechanism will work in Ghana? This country that is rife with corruption at every corner?
The idea of targeting is not that big of a deal. The problem is how to ensure adherence.
