🗣️ @GalaVeldhoen, @PACE_News General Rapporteur on the Abolition of the Death Penalty, strongly condemns today’s execution of Takahiro Shiraishi in Japan - the first in nearly 3 years - and urges the country to align with the Council of Europe’s goal of universal abolition.
